Recently Dorothy had a spitting cobra in her back yard and her dog took after it. The pictures are great. The dog survived but the snake did not.

On March 19th Dave left for home on the little Chit plane. He was with a village lady who was taking her baby to the hospital in Lusaka. What an experience. Not flying with Dave but just a lady who had never been out of the village going to the capital city for the first time.
Dave arrived home safely after a delay in Ethiopia and a stop in Rome.

We have started a new well and it really brings out the kids to watch. As soon as we pull into the village the people just keep coming out of the bush to watch. I guess we are the best show in town. Maybe the only show in town.
Dave got invited into one of the homes for Nshima and caterpillars. He said he had just eaten lunch so wasn't hungry.
We hope to finish this well tomorrow.

Dave Seabrook and I left for Chitokoloki Feb. 21st. After an unexpected night in Ethiopia we arrived in Lusaka on the 24th. We finally made it to Chit on the 25th. So far we have been working on some plumbing, well drilling and Dave has been doing a massive amount of small engine repair. We have also met some old friends. The adventure continues.
