The Malnutrition Program is in full swing at the hospital and very busy. Mary has 14 children and 11 adults in the program at present. One toddler died just recently but the doctor thinks it was due to village medicine. The children are fed 4 times a day on a regimented program, but many are at such a state that they will not eat and the mothers are content to let them sleep. Some of the babies starting the program actually have to be force fed or given an NG tube. Here are some pictures of the patients and the program.
