This week is back to normal as the team has returned to Canada. The
maintenance jobs around Grace are never ending and I have a long list.
Mary continues to work with the grade one class. Her goal is to have
them recognize the alphabet by mid March.
Last week we had an opportunity to go to a children's hospital, an
emotional time especially the burn unit. We also met a small boy named
Samson ( I will try to post a picture) who was suffering from
malnutrition. We found out on the weekend that he died, so sad.
We are doing well, but miss home sometimes.

Today we went to Nsobe, a wildlife preserve and camp. It was a very
nice day, no rain. Seven of the Grace academy kids came with us. They
had a great time canoeing, playing games and swimming. We did not see
very many animals as their safari trucks were broke down. We did see
some wonderful birds and a snake on the canoe trip. Diana a grade five
student had agreat time taking pictures with my camera. On the ride
home everyone was tired Philimon fell asleep.

I was just sitting here this morning drinking my Tim Horton's coffee
thinking of home. That's right a cup of Tim's right here in northern
Zambia. No, they didn't open new drive thru, but the coffee is good. A
team of landscapers arrived from Canada on the weekend bearing gifts
from Seeds of Hope. In the package was a tin of Tim Horton's coffee.
We are missing the snow, well maybe not too much.
